Omela

Building Trust for a Health Tech Wearable
Overview
Branding, UI/UX, Web Design, Art Direction, Copywriting
Omela Health needed a brand and digital experience that would instill trust and showcase the power of their AI-powered, voice-enabled wearable device. The challenge was positioning Omela as an essential tool for older adults, particularly stroke and heart attack survivors. This demographic often faces challenges with technology adoption, so the design needed to be simple, intuitive, and supportive while overcoming the barrier of technology fear and unfamiliarity.

Creating a Simple, Human-Centered Experience for Older Adults
I worked closely with the Omela team to develop a brand identity and website experience tailored specifically to the needs and preferences of an older audience. The visual identity was designed with softer colors, clear typography, and easy-to-navigate elements to ensure accessibility for older users, many of whom may not be as familiar with advanced technology. For the website, I focused on creating an intuitive and straightforward experience that emphasized simplicity and reliability. The messaging was crafted to resonate with older adults, positioning Omela as a trusted, easy-to-use health companion that empowers users to manage their health proactively, without the complexity that often comes with tech-driven solutions.

Stronger Brand Identity and User Trust
The rebranding successfully positioned Omela as a trusted health companion for older adults. By focusing on clarity, simplicity, and accessibility, the website now communicates the device’s benefits in a way that resonates with this demographic. The result was increased trust in the brand, a better understanding of the product, and a stronger emotional connection from users who saw the wearable as an essential part of their health management. Interest from both consumers and healthcare providers grew as Omela was recognized for its ability to simplify advanced health technology for older individuals.
